ASBL CIGL Hesperange, founded in 2001, aims to support jobseekers and facilitate their socio-professional integration by developing local initiatives that create new activities. Its action is based on strong values:

6 services at the heart of community life
From support for vulnerable people to the upkeep of public spaces, each service contributes to a more inclusive and sustainable society, while at the same time creating mutually supportive and useful jobs for the community.

CIGL Hesperange is organized around three complementary departments, each contributing to our mission of promoting professional integration, supporting local employment and offering useful services to the community.


Administration department

The administrative department is the hub of our organization, managing projects, human resources, financial monitoring and relations with our institutional and community partners.

Employment and Skills Department

This department plays a key role in supporting beneficiaries, helping them to develop their skills and reintegrate into the workforce. As an organization approved by the Ministère du Travail, we provide high-quality socio-professional support, based on individualized follow-up tailored to each person's needs.

Our actions include

  • Skills assessment.
  • Finding suitable training courses.
  • Contacts with companies and partners to organize internships.
  • Close collaboration with ADEM and other players in the sector.

Technical department

This department oversees the implementation of the services offered by CIGL. It supervises teams in the field in a variety of services such as the environment, outreach, cleaning, joinery, the solidarity garden (Naturgaart) and CIGLiothéik.

The technical coordinator oversees all technical services to ensure the smooth running of activities in the field. She supervises team leaders, organizes resources and ensures the quality, safety and efficiency of the services provided.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is CIGL's main decision-making body. It determines the organization's strategic orientations and oversees all its activities. It ensures that the ASBL's values and missions are applied, while guaranteeing its sustainability and smooth operation.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of CIGL Hesperange. He/she implements strategic decisions to achieve set objectives, supervises financial management (drawing up and monitoring budgets) and ensures that resources are optimized to guarantee the ASBL's long-term viability. He also represents the organization with external partners and steers the development of new projects.
